Patty Young, MD
Dr. Patty Young is a well-respected plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She performs both cosmetic and complex reconstructive procedures, including all types of cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, peripheral nerve reconstruction, and microvascular surgery. Dr. Young is one of the few surgeons who perform brachial plexus reconstruction.
Dr. Young's goal is to enhance the quality of life of her patients from both an aesthetic and functional standpoint. Dr. Young received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1987. She graduated with honors and was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. Dr. Young completed her general surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center / Parkland Hospital. Following this, she fulfilled a two-year research fellowship in wound healing at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Young then completed her plastic surgery residency at Barnes Hospital / Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, MO. An additional year of fellowship training in peripheral nerve surgery / microvascular surgery was then performed. During this year, Dr. Young was an instructor at Barnes Hospital assisting in the training of plastic surgery residents. She then returned to the Dallas area establishing her private practice in 1997. Her plastic surgery office is located in beautful Plano, Texas.
Dr. Young is board certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Naveen Setty, MD
Dr. Naveen Setty and his staff believe that their patient comes first. They use their expertise to ensure the best possible outcome for their patient. Their goal is to improve the quality of life of every patient they care for.
Dr. Setty is a board-certified plastic surgeon well trained in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery with further specialization in surgery of the hand. He received his undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York City graduating honors with distinction. Dr. Setty received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University. He then completed his residency training in plastic surgery at Saint Louis University. Deciding on further specialization, Dr. Setty then completed two one year fellowships in hand surgery and plastic surgery. This training was done at the world-renowned Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Setty moved from the East Coast in 2008 to join Dr. Patty Young at Premier Plastic Surgery of Texas in Plano. He is on staff at several hospitals and performs plastic and hand surgery in Plano, McKinney, Allen, and Frisco. Dr. Setty’s aim is to use his diverse skills to enhance function and form while providing the highest quality of care to his patients.
