After graduating from medical school at the University of Miami, Dr. Norman Bakshan Day completed 5 years of surgical residency from New York University Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He then went on to complete a highly coveted position in plastic surgery for two years at the University of Miami and a fellowship in Microsurgery at the University of Southern California. He has served in a revered position of Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. He is Double Board Certified and recertified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Day was also elected to the most highly coveted position of a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, which bestows the highest honors on those who are already outstanding in their field. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at State University of New York.
